Open Ask on the unit and say you want testing on it. A card appears where you set the paper up:
- Number of questions — 5 to 100, in fives.
- Difficulty — Easier, Mixed or Harder.
- Minutes — a time limit, or Off for untimed.
- Topic — narrow it to one thing, or leave it on Whole scope.
Confirm, and the paper is written.
What it costs
| Questions | Credits |
|---|---|
| 5 | 25 |
| 10 | 35 |
| 20 | 60 |
| 40 | 105 |
| 100 | 246 |
The sizes in between are priced in between. The card does not show the price — your balance is on Account → Usage, and the full list is in What each thing costs.
One long test costs less than several short ones. A 20-question test is 60 credits; four 5-question tests are 100 credits for the same 20 questions. If you know you want twenty, ask for twenty.
Taking it
Answer as you go. If you set a time limit it counts down and submits when it runs out.
At the end you get your score, the right answers, and where in the unit each one came from — so a question you got wrong takes you straight to what to reread.
Taking it again
You can sit the same paper as many times as you like. Only making a test costs credits; sitting one you already have costs nothing.
If it does not finish
A paper that fails while it is being written can be started again from the same place, and you are not charged twice for it.
