Go to Account → Plans and pick the plan you want. On the checkout screen there is a box marked Have a code? — type your code there and tap Apply.
You might have heard these called coupon or promo codes. In nounstudy it is just a code.
What you should see
Code applied. under the box, and a Code applied line in your summary with the amount that came off. The total changes to match.
Remember to tap Apply. Typing the code is not enough on its own — until you tap it you will see Tap Apply to use this code., and the price has not changed yet.
Capitals do not matter. The box puts your code in capitals as you type.
One code at a time
You can use one code on a payment. Type another one and it takes the place of the first.
If your code does not work
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| That code isn't valid. | The code is wrong, or it is no longer running. |
| You've already used that code. | You have used it as many times as that code allows. |
| That code doesn't work on this plan. | It is for a different plan. Try it on another one. |
| Your plan is already free. | There is nothing to take off the Fresher plan. |
Check for a typo first, and that you picked the right plan. If it still does not work, the code has probably ended — send us the code and we will check it for you.
No box on the screen?
The code box only shows on the paid plans. It is not on the free Fresher plan, and not on the plan you are already on.
The student discount is not a code
If you signed up with your noun.edu.ng address and confirmed it, 10% comes off by itself for your first three payments. It shows as Student discount in the summary, and you do not type anything to get it.
It works alongside a code — you can have both on the same payment.
Where to see what you paid
Account → Receipts. See Find your invoices.
