The first time you sign in, nounstudy asks you a few things under Finish setting up your account. It takes a minute or two, and you cannot skip past it to the rest of the app.
What it asks
- Where are you in your programme — your level, and roughly when you started.
- Confirm programme — the one you chose when you signed up. This is your chance to catch a mistake.
- What are you here to do — what you want out of nounstudy.
- How do you learn best.
- When do you actually study.
- Were you invited by someone — a referral code, if you have one. This one you can skip.
Continue moves you on. If something is missing you are told what to fix rather than left guessing.
Why it asks
Your level and programme decide which courses you are shown. The rest shapes what nounstudy suggests and when.
Answer them honestly rather than quickly — nothing here is a test, and a wrong level means a list of courses that are not yours.
Coming back to it
If you close the page part-way, you land back on the step you stopped at. Nothing you have already answered is asked twice.
When it is done
You see Setup complete, and you are on your home page. From there, add a course and start reading — see Add a course.
Changing an answer later
Your programme is fixed once setup is done — see Choosing your programme. For anything else, tap Chat with Idara on your home page.
